I bought some stuff at the store yesterday...how exciting is that? Not exactly a noteworthy post, but things have been kinda slow today and I haven't posted in a few days, so I thought I should write something...
So, here's what I bought...
1. A little, cheap dayplanner.
2. A bag of pens.
3. Deodorant.
4. Shaving Cream.
5. A metal light switch plate.
I oughta have some fun with that stuff!

I Love America
I filed my taxes yesterday...hopefully I did them properly...I used Turbo Tax (.com)...they have this cool little feature that calculates your refund as you go along...turns out, I'll be getting about $858 back PLUS $300 for the rebate everyone gets...
I guess that useless economic stimulus package isn't so bad after all...
I figure I'll save it after I buy a few choice items...
Such as a Utilikit and a couple of DVD sets, like this one...

A Whole New World...
So, yesterday, Rose and I went to World Market...I'd never been there before...I loved it...
She went there to get this cool little dish set with a little caddy...it was cute...
While I was there, I found this bitchin' flask that I wanna buy...It's silver and...metal...anyway, it's pretty neat...I've been wanting one for a long time...yes, I know I don't drink, but it's cool just to have one...it's one of those guy things...every man should own one...much like a zippo lighter...which I used to have, but I lost, so I'm on the lookout for a new one...
I also found Coppola wine...which I should buy as I'm a movie geek...I looked for Skywalker Ranch wine, but they didn't have any...I guess I'll just have to buy that online...
On a side note, I think my cat pissed in my room somewhere, but I can't find it...
I intend to do some serious drawing this week and work on my homework...

You All Promote Yourselves Better...
I've been trying to get people to buy stuff related to my artwork, but nobody really seems interested...I don't think I'm promoting myself well enough...I don't know enough geeks...I've been trying to get more involved in the geek communities, but haven't been very successful...I joined a couple of message boards and such, but I don't hang out with enough geeks...
If I had money, I'd go hang out at Comic Book Ink in Tacoma...I've been having comic withdrawals...I miss buying my comics...I don't really have anyone to discuss them with anyway...
I've been wanting to draw some sketch cards, but I'm not sure how to go about getting the word out so that people would want to buy them...I know there are people out there who love that stuff, but I have yet to find them...
I'm working on some art projects that will hopefully help pimp me out, so we'll see how that goes...In the meantime, I continue the search for more geek friends...

Citizen's Academy Part 1
Well, I've had 3 classes at the Citizen's Academy...they've been fun so far...we've just been learning about the law and how to spot a crime and how to deal with them, etc.
Yesterday, we got to do mock scenes where we played the officers going on a few calls and trying to deal with them.
The first one was a drunk guy walking in the middle of the street. We kinda failed that one miserably because we let him go and we walked back in to traffic and got hit by a car. But, we weren't getting graded or anything, but the officer would talk to us about what we did and such.
The next call was a domestic violence, where the woman threw a piece of wood at the guy, so she went to jail. We did a little better at that one. We just needed to keep them separated a little more.
The third one was a woman coming in to the PD wanting to report a theft. I got that she was acting kinda funny by her body language and such and she kept changing her story, etc. We did pretty good at that one, but there was one major piece of the puzzle that we were missing...she had pills in her purse.
All-in-all, it was pretty fun. Next week, we're learning about the traffic laws. I have some good questions about that...heh.
A few of us volunteered to be tazed, too, but that won't be til later. Heh heh.

Ok, thanks to Jeri, I will be updating over here more often...
I haven't been here since September, holy cow....I've been kind of preoccupied with Myspace, but I will try to give you attention here as well...Just because you are the youngest, doesn't mean I love you less...
A little quick update since the last time we spoke...
I got a job, then had to quit...I have a woman now...I've started school again...I got a new car that I can't really pay for...ummm....that's about it...
I'm doing the Bonney Lake Police Citizen's Academy, which I talked about over here and I'll be updating about that once a week...which I'm a little behind on since we're in our second week and I haven't talked about the first one yet...nyeh...
So, don't you fret...I shall not leave you again (Pronounced uh-gayn)....
Peace, Love and Hot Dogs...

WEIRD AL CONCERT!
So, last night was the Weird Al concert at the Puyallup Fair...and it was the most totally awesomest thing I ever saw...
Just to see him up close and personal...it was surreal...been listening to the guy since I was a young'n...never thought I'd get to see him in concert...much less be that close! I had a great fucking seat...6th row, seat 18, section D...right smack dab in the middle...during Wanna B Ur Luvr, he came into the audience and was serenading everyone...
At that point...I had a vagina...
I know now what it's like to be a teenage girl...
For a time, I forgot I was a heterosexual man...
And, it was glorious...
All the sets were awesome...during costume changes they played some of those AL TV celebrity "interviews"...they're totally hilarious...you can look them up on You Tube...they're worth a gander, watching him just rip apart stupid celebrities...lol
They showed other clips from various tv shows of Al and a few sketches from UHF....
It's really hard to describe how awesome this concert was..you had to have been there...
I took over 400 pictures...a lot of them didn't come out too well because the guy barely stands still...
Smells Like Nirvana just rocked live...the cheerleaders were pretty cute too...I tried to get a couple shots of them, but it was kinda hard...no pun intended...
I wasn't quite close enough to get splashed with water...just one or 2 rows too far back...but almost got it...
Let's see...what else...
I got a couple of souvenirs...a piece of ribbon that was shot out of an air cannon...and a $100 "Al Buck" as I call it....has his portrait on it...totally awesome stuff...
Oh, yes....The Saga Begins....a highlight of the show...a bunch of dancing Stormtroopers and Darth Vader and Boba Fett...with Al and the band dressed as Jedi...except Ruben, he was Darth Sidious...
That was pretty sweet....and they left and he went into Yoda....usually he ends his shows with Yoda, but that was more in the middle...the show went on for a quite a while after that, I was surprised...
Oh, he performed a new song, I'm in Love With the Skipper....a parody of I'm in Love with a Stripper...dressed as Gilligan....I hope that one's on the next album....
The costume changes were pretty sweet....dressing like Taylor Hicks, Eminem, Rage Against the Machine, the Fat suit, Eat It jacket, the silver suit for All About the Pentiums...and the 6 costume changes in one song that ended with a Spongebob t-shirt, pink tutu, boxer shorts and fishnets...that was awesome....
He started performing Trapped in the Drive-Thru...I thought he was gonna do the whole thing...that's an 11 minute song..I wouldn't have complained, it's a funny ass song...I was just surprised...lol
Of course, he came out in a huge fat suit for Fat...when he was yelling "Ho!", a roadie dressed in drag came out, carrying a garden hoe...that was certainly a sight...
He ended the show with Albuquerque....a 12 minute song...of course, the live version was more like 15 or 20 because of the extra stuff he threw in there...lol...but it was awesome...
The encore was "We All Have Cell Phones"...at which point the whole audience raised their phones in the air...
All-in-all, it was the best time I've ever had....anywhere! Great show! If I had the money, I would totally become a groupie and just follow him around the country....
This was actually my first real concert...I'd been to live music performances, but nothing I'd really consider a concert...this was A CONCERT!
I will never forget it and I will never miss another one!
