So, I had that job interview today...I think it went pretty well, though the commute was a little rough...took me almost an hour to get to Issaquah from Sumner...and it took me 2 hours to get home...but, I'll do the drive if I get the job...I'm not complainin', I'm just complaining...

I started school again...I'm not as psyched as I was this time last quarter, mostly because I'm not sure if I even wanna keep doing graphic design because, well, frankly, I suck at it...I should just stick to illustration and get those comic submissions done...and with the job I'll be able to start buying stuff to sell on ebay...so, everybody pray for me!

One of my instructors is an old teacher from the Art Institute...so, that's kinda surreal having him teach me again...especially since I had to take his class twice at AIS...this should be interesting...

Man, I'm getting lazy with these things...not sure what else to write about....

So, here's the word of the day...

Damn You, World of Warcraft...

Yes, I've been re-sucked in...hence, the reason I haven't posted in a couple days...I gotta get as much time in as I can before school starts again on Monday...blech...

At least I found time to get a job interview...Yep, it's at PetSmart in Issaquah...yeah, it's a bit of a drive, but I'm willing to take a bullet for the paycheck...it's working in their "PetsHotel" thing which, I'm assuming, is a boarding service...
I have plenty of experience in that...I worked at the vet clinic doing just that and I also worked at Banfield which I forgot to mention, but that I'll just slip into the conversation during the interview...Banfield, by the way, is owned by PetSmart...ah ha! Now it comes together...

So, I went to this game store at the mall...they boast that they have the World of Warcraft TCG...2 big ass banners in the window, etc...so, I walk in there, looking around...finally, I find the card games, shoved in one corner of the store and behind the counter and it's nothing but Magic...I'm looking, I'm looking...the only WoW TCG item I find is a fucking playmat...so, I keep looking...plenty of Star Wars miniatures and Heroclix and Scene It and all those god-awful "Opoly" games...then as I'm leaving, I see it...one paltry box of WoW booster packs...that's it...after all that boasting and that's all they have?! Good Lord...

I also managed to get some time in to clean my room...some of it anyway...

I'm going to play poker again tomorrow...and watch the Seahawks playoff game...gotta watch some Bond to get my mojo...it really worked for me after I saw Casino Royale...I'm still 4 for 4 in our poker games...J and I are tied, both having lost and won the same amount of games...I guess we just kick ass....

The New Year'sa Heresa....

Well, it's officially 2007...I hope everyone had a nice hangover today...my new year's was spent in my undies flipping through the channels, not finding a damn thing on and hopping back and forth between the TV and computer...
So, I started playing World of Warcraft again...thought it was time I get my 53 Dwarf Hunter up to 60 sometime before the expansion comes out...it doesn't help not having a guild or even any friends who play on your server anymore (thanks, Chris)...but, I'm slowly but surely getting there...
I've also thought about getting the World of Warcraft card game that came out a few months ago...been looking on ebay for starter sets...found a couple good hits...I'll probably peruse the stores tomorrow...

I really wanna get my ebay business going, but there's that little nuisance called money...my mom's offered to be my partner, so we'll see how that goes...

The job search is a pain in the ass...been putting out applications and resumes and no hits at all...that's why I need my ebay business...so I can say "fuck you" to the asshats who didn't gimme a chance...

Sorry...bitter again...

I'd just love to be my own boss and not have to worry about impressing other people just to get a shitty job...it seems like such a waste...

So, I got my final grades from this last quarter of school...I think one of my teachers just passed me so she wouldn't have to deal with me again...she's not gonna be very happy when my ugly mug shows up in her Desktop Publishing II class on January 10th...
I'm just glad that quarter is over...hopefully, this next one will be a little better since it's only 3 classes instead of 4 and only one is a gen ed class...though, the gen ed classes were a lot easier than my core design classes...so, we'll see...

I think I should get started on my comic pages I plan to submit...probably won't hear anything, but it's worth a try...

I think first I'm gonna do a Superman one...I'm gonna do my version of the helicopter rescue from the first movie...that should be interesting...

Speaking of Superman, I just finished the first 4 seasons of Smallville with my mom...I got her hooked on that show...but, I don't have season 5 yet, so we're stuck on a cliffhanger...well, I've seen the premiere of 5, but I haven't seen the whole season, but I know the main points...so, I've been on the lookout for it...I think I'll find the best deal on ebay...I went to Best Buy to find it (the day of that little "accident"), but they were out...and I think theirs is a little pricey anyway...so, I'm still looking around...

OK, well, I've rambled enough, so I'm outtie...

Attack of the Time-Waster...

So, I guess that douchebag actually tried to file the claim through our insurance...so, now I have to take time out of my busy schedule and get my car inspected 2 weeks from now...too bad they won't be able to find anything...basically, this guy can't prove anything...the whole situation is too ridiculous to even consider...he's filing an insurance claim (or at least trying to) for something he could wipe off with that scratch remover stuff you can get at even the cheapest store...
And if the insurance company does pay out for this, then we'll be looking elsewhere for our insurance needs...it'd be interesting to see if this guy has a history of this, which I'm willing to bet that he does...

So, that's about where we are with that...

I just seem to attract the most bizarre, outrageous, ridiculous situations...I think I'm gonna compile them all together and write a book...I can at least make some money off these bastards who've tried screwing me over the years...

It's partially my fault, too, I guess...I really wish I could be more assertive, but I'm just too flippin' nice for my own good...and whenever I have blown up at people, I've always felt guilty afterwards...to not let people intimidate me....that, and to be less fat...

I guess that's my New Year's resolution...

Next time someone says I dinged their car, I'm just gonna drive off...

Back to the Vault or Disney Sucks a Mean Cock...

So, I noticed Disney has brought their vault back to be closed again as is their annual ritual of trying to siphon as much dough as they can before the year is out...

Lady and the Tramp, LATT 2 and also the Narnia 4-disc...of course, they just released that about a month ago and it's already going in the vault...that's a new kind of record...I was gonna buy it because I thought I had a good year or 2 before they retired it, but I shoulda known better with Disney...but, I think I can pass on it...I'm not gonna play into their little game...fuck Disney...

So, that little scam artist didn't get away with his scheme...I knew it was all a crock...I hate ass-cock, douchebag, cunt rags like that...they make me sick...

My lord, I'm bitter tonight...

And I need to clean my room...

So, ol' Sadaam got the rope today...good riddance...though they shoulda Mussolini-ized his ass...ya know, torture him for a few days, then drag his body naked through the streets for all to see...that coulda been fun...

I hate looking for a job...it's right up there with having your testicles zapped with jumper cables...but, like the zapping, it has to be done...I have no choice at this point...even being in school is expensive...gas money, printing costs, supplies, etc...plus, I have all these bad, expensive habits to support...I just need a nice, steady, low-stress job to have while I'm in school...just a part-time gig...

Anybody have any suggestions?

27th Time's the Charm or Dingy McScamsalot

Ok, so I know I've made about 5 million of these blogs before and I forget about them and/or I'm just too damn lazy to update, but I think I can pull it off this time...

And for this new inaugural edition, I have a lovely story of a scam artist at work in his native habitat...the Best Buy parking lot.

So, I was there intending to spend the $50 gift card I got for Christmas (thanks, Henry), not really sure what I was there to buy. I did find out, however, that I pretty much own the movies I absolutely have to need, save for a few choice picks...and I also realized that the only movies on sale are the really shitty ones...and the average movie buyer has atrocious taste, but I already knew that...

Anyway, back to the story...so, I'm in the store for about an hour as I leave empty handed because of my uncanny ability to be indecisive...as I'm walking back to my car, there's a gangly, severely unattractive dude hangin' out by my car, manila folder and pen in hand...

So, he claims I dinged his car with my door...I deny the entire thing and pretty much just let it go in one ear and out the other...he tried to scare me by saying he notified the police who, by that reckoning, must be the most efficient cops in the history of law enforcement, and that they had all my info...too bad he didn't know that the cops won't come out for a door ding for pete's sake...

Douche...

Long story short, he was just trying to grime some money...he even said he checks his door everytime he goes somewhere...I couldn't live like that...I bet he sleeps with one eye open and keeps rear-view mirrors on his glasses...

So, that's that...some people just irritate the fuck outta me...

Well, I think that'll be it for this installment...I shall head outta here, go play some more Star Wars: Empire at War...someone's gotta save the galaxy...
